Gouache Portrait Paintings on Linen
Item Details
A pair of gouache portrait paintings on linen. In the first image, a seated man with wrinkles faces the viewer as he smokes a cigarette. The second portrait depicts a man in a colorful traditional headdress, against a warm, glowing background. Both paintings are signed by the same artist, appearing to read ‘K Cailay’. These pieces are presented under layered mats and acrylic glass, in gold tone gesso frames with hanging wire affixed to the versos.

- slight edge wear to frames; slight buckling to linen.
