Item Details

A pair of embossed relief prints on paper titled Poinsettia and Fruit and Flowers by Wisconsin artist Judy Severson. As explained by a label affixed to the verso of Fruit and Flowers, these pieces are designed to reflect American quilt patterns from the mid 19th. century, like the one created by Mary Carpenter Pickering ca. 1850. These pieces are printed in festive red and green ink on white paper with deckled edges. The work is signed and titled in pencil to the lower margins, and Fruit and Flowers is marked 168 in an edition of 200. The prints are mounted on backing paper and presented in plastic sleeves.
