1950s–1960s "Jungle Doctor" Books by Paul White
Item Details
A collection of eleven books from Paul White’s fictional Jungle Doctor series, based on the author’s experiences as a missionary doctor in Tanganyika in the late 1930s. These hardcover books with pictorial boards are American editions, published between 1950 and 1963 by the Paternoster Press. Titles include Jungle Doctor Operates, Jungle Doctor Meets a Lion, Jungle Doctor Attacks Witchcraft, and two copies each of Jungle Doctor on Safari and Jungle Doctor’s Enemies.
Condition
- to poor; all are ex-library with labels, stamps and markings; some covers partially detached; loose bindings; some discoloration; wear to covers and spines; general wear throughout.
