Johnson Acrylic Painting of Floral Still Life
Item Details
An acrylic painting of floral still life design signed ‘Johnson’ in the lower left. A vase of light pink roses sits on a background of geometric patterns in green, gold, purple, and black. The flowers are placed in a purple vase, which seems to be a part of the foreground and background simultaneously, creating an optical illusion. The painting is presented in a gilt, embossed frame with inner linen border. There is a stamp on the back of the frame, which reads ‘Hecho en Mexico.’ There is a wire hanging on the verso.
