Scheurich Ceramic Fat Lava Vase
Item Details
A ceramic vase by West German company Scheurich. The ‘fat’ label refers to the large amount of glaze to create the cooled lava effect around the lip and the base of the work. The bottom is moulded ‘W. Germany’ and the product number ‘231/ 15’ which is partially obstructed by the glaze. Presented freestanding.
Condition
- some wear to lip of vase; some wear to the bottom of the vase; scratches along the sides of the work.
