Item Details
A watercolor painting on cardboard of farmhands signed ‘Lalys’. This genre scene depicts two farmhands stopping to speak with each other as they cross paths. One of the figures is depicted riding a horse while the other is other is walking on foot with a wooden staff. This piece is signed by hand in graphite to the lower right corner. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- wear and scratching throughout the frame; tear to the paper backing.
