A collection of photographic imagery depicting historic figures from Sioux, Apache and Cheyenne tribes. Included are fifteen prints, including a mixture of late 19th-century cabinet cards, as well as modern reproduction prints. Featured are portraits of Oglala Lakota chiefs American Horse, Long Wolf, Red Shirt, Last Horse and No-Neck. Other portraits include Hunkpapa Lakota chief Sitting Bull, Cheyenne chief White Shield and more. The cards are arranged on a blue paper background and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- to Fair; wear, toning, fading and foxing to older prints; wear to corners and edges of all cards and prints; wear and dust present to frame; sticker present to frame glass at upper right; no backing paper to verso.
