Item Details
A pair of oil paintings on canvas landscapes. Features is a mountainous landscape with a small pond rendered under a cloudy sky. This work is signed ‘Davis’ to the lower right. Also included is a work depicting a winter landscape with figures skating on a icy river. Another figure on the bank gathers wood. This work is signed ‘Prohazka’ to the lower left corner. To the verso, is an ink inscription. Both works are presented unmounted and unframed.
Condition
- mountainous landscape has a small dent to the center right and a chip to the paint to the lower right; winter landscape ; canvas has lost tension; wear to edges throughout.
