Ceramic Bird Figurines
Item Details
A selection of ceramic bird figurines. These four freestanding figurines feature three ducks that are posed with open and closed bills, posed with their heads cocked sideways and perched forward. Also included is a moulded ceramic figurine with a hollow, circular interior which resembles a pheasant. Each work is glazed in an earthen color palette and moulded with fine detail to denote feathers and facial features. To the underside of one duck is a stamped inscription reading ‘Brazil 4115’.
Condition
- pheasant figurine wobbles when stood up; paint around bill is chipping for all duck figurines; wear to underside.
