Item Details
An oil painting on panel of a lion by artist Nancy Boecker. This painting depicts a cartoonish rendering of the aforementioned feline in frontal pose as it mischievously stares upward. The composition is created utilizing a sgraffito technique, wherein pigment is scraped on the top surface to reveal pigment underneath. To the lower left corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is placed against a white backing and is presented under glass in a finished wooden frame with sawtooth brackets to the verso for hanging.
