Chinese Soapstone Vase and Guardian Lion Censer

Item Details

A selection of carved soapstone décor pieces. The selection includes a vase and a lidded vessel, possibly an inkwell, both resting on footed pedestals. The censer is elaborately carved in multi-colored soapstone, featuring five guardian lionsgeometric patterning. The light-colored vase is urn shaped with leaf and flower carved embellishments; it rests on a purple-magenta soapstone pedestal. The items are unmarked.
