Chinese Ceramic Decorative Plaque
Item Details
A Chinese porcelain decorative plaque with translucent glaze in the form of a fierce dragon. In tones of turquoise, pink and ochre yellow, the mouth is open revealing teeth and a pink tongue. The border is accented with a leiwen meander motif. The reverse has two impressed marks, one of which reads ‘Wu yuan’ (吴苑). Is complete with original fitted fabric covered box.
