Eight Chippendale Style Dining Room Chairs

A grouping of eight Chippendale style dining room chairs to include six side chairs and two arm chairs. These ornately carved chairs feature a subtle serpentine crest rail with foliate ears. The center of the crest rail is embellished with acanthus leaves and a pierced splat that features rosette medallions and ribbon open work encircled by a horseshoe shaped cartouche with gadroon accent. The seats are upholstered in a medium blue sateen type material accented with two toned five point stars. The carved cabriole legs are enhanced with acanthus leaves and oval cartouche that terminates in a ball and claw foot to the front with a square leg and pad foot to the rear legs.
