Antique "Tea Leaf" Stone China
Item Details
A collection of antique Tea Leaf stone china. This thirty piece collection is decorated with a copper tone lustre stripe around the rims and a single tea leaf to the center. The pieces include various maker’s and hallmarks. Seven pieces including one large lidded pitcher, one gravy boat with ladle, one square serving bowl, one rectangular platter, one pot without lid, a bread plate and one saucer are hallmarked “Warranted, Anthony Shaw & Son, England” with a maker’s seal. Also included in the collection are twenty-two additional pieces including cups, plates, casserole lids, rectangular serving dishes without lids, a ladle and more. Each hallmarked with various maker marks. The collection is joined by one white lidded casserole dish with a scalloped lid and side handles. This piece is hallmarked ‘Ironstone China, Powell Bishop, England’ to the base. Additional Tea Leaf china pieces are available in this sale, item 17CIN429-002.
Condition
- some pieces show staining, chips. Others are in good condition. Casserole dishes do not include lids.
