A collection of mid 19th century sterling silver tablespoons. They feature oval bowls, with extended shoulders, narrow stems and a variety of fiddle handle types. One is marked ‘Poindexter’ for Lexington silversmith William P. Poindexter (active 1818-1859), one is marked ‘Geo W Stewart’ for Lexington silversmith George W. Stewart (active 1846-1852), and one is marked for 1828, London, and James Wintle. The total approximate weight is 3.080 ozt.
