Item Details

A wood deacon’s bench. This bench is painted bright white and features a serpentine crest rail supported by spindles and vase style back slats. The curved arms extend down from the crest rail and are supported by turned spindles. The rectangular bench seat rises on six turned legs connected by front and side stretchers.The large-scale clock features an antique style finish with large black numerals. It is hallmarked ‘Antoine De Paiteau, Paris.’

Condition

- clock is untested. Latex paint is coming off in small area along the bench where wood panels meet.
