Chinese Silk Embroidery of Woman Holding Her Pet Dog
Item Details
A Chinese silk embroidery. This piece features a full-body portrait of a woman in traditional dress with flowing pink robes and red flowers in her hair. She carries lovingly in her arms a white pet Shih Tzu. Characters to the upper left translate roughly to ‘Tang Dynasty Princess’ over a red seal. The piece is presented behind a mat and glass in a gold tone frame that is wired for hanging.

- minor tears to paper backing.
