A chromolithograph on paper titled An Inviting Pathway by artist Robert Atkinson Fox (1860-1935). This landscape depicts a long dirt path that continues straight on past scattered trees and field and into the tree-lined horizon. The light is just beginning to turn orange and cast the hues of sunset across the scene. It is signed in plate to the lower right and printed with publisher’s information to the lower left corner. The print is presented behind glass in a wood frame with gesso molding on the top and wire for hanging.

Condition

- a few spots where the paper is torn; paper has been damaged and ink layer has chipped/peeled away in spots around edges of piece; edge wear to frame; cracking and wear to finish on top frame molding.
