An acrylic painting on canvas of an impressionist landscape, signed ‘J. Shayne’. Portrayed with textural impasto and loose quick brushstrokes, this work features a grassy landscape with three prominent trees in the foreground. The overall work is rendered in muted earth tones including yellows, greens, and browns. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in an ornate gesso frame with a rustic orange finish, elaborate foliate molding, and a canvas liner.
