Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian pictorial area rug. This wool rug features a lush garden scene with a tree of life and flowers across the field, and a rolling hillside depicted in the background capped by a structure, in softly muted colors with some abrash. The rug has an ornate arabesque vine and floral pattern throughout the primary border, in tawny gold, greens and blue on a cherry red field, flanked by floral guard borders. It is finished with overcast edges and wool warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
