A first American edition of Tropic of Capricorn by Henry Miller. This book is presented in a green cloth bound cover with gilt lettering to the spine and red page edges. This edition was banned in the United States after it was first published in 1939 in France, then was published by Grove Press of New York in 1961 once the ban was lifted.
