A 1699 book fully titled Quinti Horatii Flacci Opera, Ad optimorum Exemplarium fidem recensita. Accesserunt Variæ Lectiones, Quæ in Libris MSS. & Eruditorum Commentariis notatu digniores occurrunt. This Latin-language edition of the works of Horace was edited by James Talbot of Trinity College, Cambridge and published at Cambridge in 1699; the imprint reads ‘Cantabrigiæ: Typis Academicis, Impenssis Jacobi Tonson Bibliopolæ, Londin. MDCXCIX.’ The book is bound in full leather with raised bands and blind-stamped cover decoration.
