A French Provincial style knee hole desk with chair. This piece is constructed from hardwood and painted white and ecru with gold tone trim, and it features a white top with a beveled, serpentine front edge over seven total machine dovetailed drawers with cast metal handles. The desk rests on cabriole legs with whorl feet. The matching chair has square back with spindles over a seat cushion with gold tone fabric upholstery. The cabriole front legs below are joined to the square-cut rear legs by stretchers.
