A vintage Heywood Brothers and Wakefield woven-back chair. The chair dates to the early twentieth century, and features a curved back of woven wicker, with a solid wood seat and straight, round tapered legs, which are wrapped in wicker or rattan. The chair retains its original label, marked ‘Heywood Brothers and Wakefield – Chicago’. This item matches item 17DEN096-152.
