An Italian sterling-plated picture frame. This piece has a square shape and features an Art Nouveau motif depicting two low relief women in draped gowns and a blossoming tree. The window to the center has a round shape with a glass cover and velvet backing. It is stamped with an Italian maker’s mark alongside ‘925,’ an ‘R’ within a square and ‘7÷10g,’ which means the frame is plated with 7 to 10 grams of sterling silver.

Condition

- silver plate is coming loose in areas; some light tarnish and surface scratches.
