A collection of dinnerware by Franciscan Earthenware, a trademark of Gladding, McBean & Co. These are in the Madeira pattern featuring green tinted gold foliate arabesques on a dark brown ground on the plates, and a pale graduation of gold and green on the brown ground on the other pieces. This collection includes seven dinner plates, four salad plates, four bread and butter plates, ten saucers, a vegetable bowl, two soup bowls, a shallow bowl, five mugs, a water pitcher, and a cream pitcher. Each is marked ‘Franciscan Earthenware’ underneath.

Condition
