An artist’s proof woodcut print on paper titled Balance by artist, Kathleen Ward Giedt. This monochromatic print depicts the yin-yang symbol and human figures flanked between Doric columns. It is signed, titled and reads ’Artist’s Proof’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. The print is matted in white and presented behind glass in a black metal frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso. Affixed to the verso is a hand inscribed note and a label with additional information on this work.

- toning on print; minor chipping to protective glass at top right corner; surface abrasion to backing; slight wear throughout frame’s finish.
