A watercolor painting on paper titled Pamela Fitzgerald by well-listed artist George Romney (English, 1734 – 1802). The late 18th-century work is signed by the artist to the upper left corner. Housed in an ornate gilt and gesso frame under glass with a linen liner. To the lower center is a brass-tone name plate. A hanging wire is to the verso.
Condition
- gesso decoration chipped along bottom edges; debris behind glass; some discoloration to the paper due to its age; note that the signature is dark red on a dark background and may be difficult to see in full.
