An acrylic painting on canvas titled Victory Dance by Morgan Mickles. This cartoon painting depicts a circle of dancing monsters under an orange spotlight. The eerie creatures include mutant insects and combinations of what could be a lizard and an aardvark, as well as creatures entirely made up. They dance in a field of blue grass under a night sky completely empty except for the two moons, one large, yellow and full, and the other in front of it a purple crescent. The piece is signed to the upper left corner. A label affixed to the verso gives the artist’s name, title of the piece, and date ‘1996’. It is presented in a wood frame and is wired for hanging.
