Vintage Silver Plate Wine Chillers and Coaster

A pair of vintage silver plate wine chillers featuring the Philips family crest and a coaster. Highly decorated with sunflowers and leaves, these silver plate chillers feature minute detailing. Dual leaf-affixed handles grace both sides of these pieces while the center features a Philips family crest of a lion on a chain with a banner above which reads, ‘Ducit Amor Patriae’, which can translate into, ‘Love of Country Leads Me’. The urns end upon a scalloped base with additional sunflower and leaf motif. The interior has removable container and a plated cover. Urns are unmarked by maker. Also included is a silver plate coaster with pierced gallery and decorative edge.
