Antique Chinese Porcelain Tea Pot

Item Details

A Chinese porcelain teapot. The pot was produced in a traveling style which allowed the owner to fold down the handle for easy transport. The export ribbed melon form pot is hand painted with fishermen. The flat lid was also helpful for travel. These pots were often sold with a fitted basket containing tea bowls. There is a sticker written in Chinese on the underside.
