An Indian-inspired resin sculpture. The piece depicts a long ceremonial boat with figural peacock masthead to the front, rendered in cream resin. Several oarsmen row the boat from the back, as a ceremony takes place under a canopy to the center. The item rests on a dark brown resin base and does not include a maker’s mark.

Condition

- two figures are missing from sculpture; one flag to top has been replaced; some oars are broken or missing; one oar is replaced with a small wooden dowel; overall surface wear; minor markings and discoloration.
