Item Details
A pastel and oil painting on paper titled Grovely Woods by J. Strickland. This piece presents saplings and mature trees arching over a path in one point perspective with reflective puddles. The regular trees create a rhythmic pattern leading the eye into the distance, toward the sunny edge of the forest. This piece is signed to the lower right and presented under an off-white mat and glass, in a wood frame with hanging wire to the verso.
