E.J. Thomas Oil Paintings on Board "Mount Cook" and "Humboldt Mountains"

A pair of oil paintings of mountain landscapes, by New Zealand artist E. J. Thomas. These pieces, titled Mount Cook and Humboldt Mountains, each depict a softly-rendered range of hills capped with snow with winding streams, as well as trees, separating them from the viewer. Each painting is signed E. Thomas to a lower corner and presented in wooden frame with off-white textile liner and a wire for hanging, along with a label bearing the artist’s information, the date 1991 for Mount Cook, and the title.
Condition
- minor scratches throughout frame; tape to verso.

- measurement of one frame, both same size; one visible image measures approximately 6.5" W x 4.75" H.
