The photograph is surrounded by reverse-glass painted crimson border. The glass is set within an antique wood frame with thin cast metal corner embellishments and a gilt finish, equipped to hang.

- border is lifting from glass. Frame is worn with chips and accretion. Cast corner embellishments are tarnished and bent.
