A watercolor painting by artist Ruth Kothe (1906-1999), titled Florescence. This Impressionist painting depicts an overflowing arrangement of flowers contained in a black mug, which sits near smooth rocks on a flattened surface. To the background is a bleeding pool of cobalt blue and pale maroon pigment, which meld together. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath single-layered matting in a silver tone metal frame. To the verso is affixed hanging wire and a handwritten tag.

Condition

- slight abrasions and wear to frame; punctures to backing board at top left corner.
