An offset lithograph on canvas after a painting by John Constable titled, The Cornfield (circa 1826). The original painting is currently housed at The National Gallery in London, England. It depicts a rural landscape and sheep being herded down a path by a dog. This print is unsigned and presented without glass in a wooden frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- toning present throughout print; scratch to lower right of canvas; small brown surface stains along upper edge of print; scratches to upper left area; wear throughout frame’s finish; large chip to lower right corner of frame; smaller chips scattered throughout.
