An offset lithograph after listed artist John Singer Sargent (1856 – 1925), titled Oyster Gatherers of Cancale. This print on paper depicts a group of women and children dressed in loose robing walking along a sandy shore in search of oysters. The composition is rendered primarily in pastel tones. The print is presented in a bronze and black tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
