Gouache Painting on Papyrus After the Tomb of Nebamun

A gouache painting on papyrus by an anonymous artist after a detail of the wall painting in the tomb-chapel of Nebamun. This depicts four seated women, clapping or playing a flute like instructed, and two women dance beside them. Columns of hieroglyphics are painted above. It is unsigned and presented mounted on a dark backing under acrylic glass, within a narrow metal frame that is wired for hanging.
