A tufted Chinese Aubusson style ‘Tea Garden’ wool carpet runner. The rug features an oval central floral medallion in shades of ivory, pink, rose, lavender, coral, pale green, and deep green on a black field. The field is enclosed by a wide floral border with large devices in the corners which uses the same palette. It has bound seams to the underside and a full backing. There is knotted cotton fringe at each end and a faded label attached to the reverse.
