A vintage oil painting on board titled Stilleben mit Apfel (Still Life with Apple) by artist Erwin Weiss. Portrayed in a Post-Impressionist style with dark outlines and flattened forms, this modest still life features a spread of tableware including a vase, pitcher, cup and saucer, plate, lidded pot, and various food items set on a blue wood table. A collection of books is also set on the table and propped against the wall. The painting is signed with the artist’s initials to the lower right. The title and the artist’s name are handwritten to the verso. The composition is presented in a white-painted wood frame.

-to fair; multiple spots of paint loss and chipping, including upper middle area, area of fruit in the dish, area of pot to lower right, lower left corner, and upper right side; toning throughout painting; craquelure throughout painting; frame has noticable abrasive wear and scratches on all surfaces; additional wear throughout frame includes small chips, stains, and paint chipping throughout.
