An antique Jeromes’ and Darrow wall clock. This circa mid 19th century wall clock features a fancy style case with scalloped and stencil painted crest, block and turned, stencil painted column pilasters, and a painted floral dial face under a glass with mirror door. The piece includes mahogany veneers, diamond shaped escutcheon and terminates in a plinth base. The interior shows original paper labels, brass pendulum and recess column openings for timekeeping weights. The face includes Roman numeral and openwork hands and the case is marked ‘Jeromes’ & Darrow, Bristol, Conn.’
