A giclée print on paper after an original painting titled Iris and Mandarin Ducks by Sakai Hōitsu (Japanese, 1761-1828), now in the permanent collection of the Dallas Museum of Art. This depicts a duck perched on a rock above the water’s edge, at the base of a blue iris. There are black inscriptions and a fan shaped red seal within the plate to the lower right. The work is presented triple matted, under glass in a gold tone wooden frame, with a sawtooth bracket attached on verso.

Condition

- minor wear to finish on the frame; tears to paper backing.
