Pair of George III Mahogany Knife Boxes

Item Details

A matched pair of circa 1800 antique George III knife boxes, in mahogany. Each has a slanted lid, a shaped front, and vertical partitions to the interior. They have locks which were unlocked at the time of cataloging, but the keys are not included.

Condition

- major vertical crack to the front of one piece, other minor cracks, some trim damage to the top edges of the bases under the lids, and moderate scratches and finish wear.
