Vintage Spoon-Back Slipper Chair in the Style of Michael Taylor

Item Details

A vintage spoon-back slipper chair in the style of Michael Taylor, circa 1960s. The wooden, black lacquer frame features an arched crest above a vertical splat flanked by a pair of downswept stiles ending in orb terminals. The spring seat is upholstered in velvet-textured, square-patterned fabric with brass tone tacks along the edges. The chair rises on curved legs ending in ball feet. It is unmarked.
