Antique Victorian Rococo Revival Parlor Chair
Item Details
An antique Victorian Rococo Revival parlor chair, circa third quarter of the 19th century. The walnut frame is upholstered in red-orange velvet with braided trim. It features a padded, cartouche-shaped back with molded and scrolled accents above scrolled, open arms and a spring seat. The chair rises on cabriole legs centered by a bowed, front seat rail and ending in casters.

Condition
- scattered scratches and nicks to frame; rear seat rail with a veneer crack and a tiny chip/loss; both arms with repaired breaks and subsequent glue repairs where they connect to the back; upholstery faded and with some stains; casters with rust and they are probably replacements.
