A vintage serigraph poster on paper for the 1985 Mobile, Alabama Mardis Gras by Southern American artist C.L. Cunningham. The piece depicts a figure in a black, white and pink harlequin costume offering a moon pie to outstretched hands. He is set against a pale pink background, with the words ‘The Original Mardis Gras, Mobile, 1985’ printed in decorative grey text to the outer edges. The print is signed in pen to the lower right, adjacent to an in plate signature. It is matted in black and presented under glass in a grey wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. - scuffing to frame surface; staining and sticker residue to upper left of frame glass; crack to glass at lower right.
