An antique Queen Anne style room divider with East Asian embroidery, circa late 19th to early 20th century. The mahogany-veneered divider features a pair of square, molded posts topped by brass, urn-form finials flanking a rectangular, glass-protected frame. The frame houses an East Asian, embroidered panel depicting a riverbank with cranes and bamboo plants surrounded by floral bands. The room divider rises on two pairs of cabriole legs ending in snake feet.

Condition

- some minor scratches and nicks; some alligatoring to finish with slightly heavier wear along outer edges of posts; some tarnishing/finish losses to finials; finials possibly not original; two back legs with repaired breaks; proper right post with a repaired break just above legs.
