Item Details
An oil painting on canvas landscape with a central female figure signed by the artist L.C. Taylor, executed in 1940. Depicted in the center of the composition if a female figure with full length maroon dress and headwear with a basket upon her shoulder and walking stick in hand. Behind her is a small cottage structure and surrounding landscape with a bright blue sky. Monogrammed to the lower right and inscribed to the verso. Presented without glass, housed in a gold-toned wood frame.
Condition
- some craquelure present and minor scratches to the canvas surface; frame has marks and chips present throughout.
