Group of Antique Colored Engravings
Item Details
A group of three framed, antique color engravings. The engravings depict lovely women, in a variety of poses. They are all marked ‘Published by Charles Tilt’, ‘1841’ and ‘Waverly Gallery’. One is titled Catharine Leyton, and also marked ‘H. Robinson’. Another is titled Jeannie Deans, and is also marked ‘W. H. Egleton’ and ‘Heart of Mid-Lothlan’. The third is titled Julia Mannering, and is also marked ‘H. Austin’ and ‘Guy Mannering’. They are presented with gray mats and glass in narrow gilded wood frames with sawtooth hangers on the backs.
